I failed to realize that this works better with standard resistances and not the lower ranges of 1.5-2ohms. even so, i took Grimmgreen's (a master product reviewer) advice of just keeping things just under 4V and nice. there is indeed heat and "body" to the vaper and now i cant wait to try it on a standard resistance carto and crank her up a little more, which is why the rating is only at 4 stars right now because i still do not know its full potential. thanks to EVERYONE at happy vaper, just as friendly in person as in the online customer service.

Not Good Enough

I got my first Ego Booster near the end of August/2011. I *was* delighted with he product, it *does* work well. I used it (almost) exclusively at home; it was never abused and never dropped. It was used, exclusively, on two 1000mah eGo-T batteries.
The $60 of batteries have/are lasting much longer than the $60 Ego Booster that died almost exactly 8 months from first use for no reason whatsoever. I am enjoying my "backup" Ego Booster, but I won't buy another. I'm not willing to pay $7.50/month to make a battery, that I've already paid for, have variable voltage. There are better alternatives
Perhaps, Happy Vapor will get the new Ego-C Twist batteries and lay this product to rest.

while this products works its great.
When I contacted to Co to exchange or repair the booster I was told I had no warranty as I had not registered it. and that the warranty was 6 months, granted I wasn't aware to register it but i do think that shouldnt void a warranty if you have the proper documentation I do think peoploe need to be aware of this fact of the registration !!!! and the fact that you dont have the warranty stated.

First one I had the battery thread post came off. the second one I had I dropped it and it boosted it to over 7v and will not go up or down. checked with a multimeter on an ego just to make sure. The ego read 3.7 and than with the booster on and it read 7.65v. it is a good product if you treat it like crystal glass

Did alot of research trying to decide on my first VV mod. It paid off. This unit is awesome and affordable. Dripping a standard 510 atty is a whole new experience vs a standard ego batt alone - flavor is enhanced and the vapor, wow, unbelievable. Crank it up and enjoy the cloud. It also really kicks up my type B mega atties. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and the great customer service from HV. Highly recommend.
