When I started on the e cigarette i started with the classic 510 and that one was great but then I switched to the e cigar and I was VERY unhappy with it the battery life is no better than the 510, the cartridges leak and the inhail is very hard and you get nothing. I mean anyone would think that bigger is better right? Well definitely not in this case if anyone is considering buying this model then think again and go get the 510 this one isn't worth anyones time.

ok i just got mine in today and first thing that hit me was the 701 was bigger then i was expecting. i was expecting something about the size of one of those thing cigar-like things you can get in shops. bigger then a cig but still smallish. what i got i was pleased with. the second thing to hit me was the lack of manual.
my 701 came in a nice looking box when opened i saw a certificate of inspection 5 cigar end looking slugs the cigar itself and the wall plug. i dug around inside the box but couldnt find a manual. which i could have used because i couldnt figure out how to open the slug things. nor was there any markings on or inside the cigar to show which end was the positive. knowing what i know about electronics and seeing the red wire on one end i took that to be the positive end(red generally indicates positive leads in electronics). aside from that the charger well which holds the battery could be a little deeper.(i included this because i lost the last half and had forgotten where i left off)
on the side of the pro's the cartride lasts several times longer then the 501, the larger size means it works MUCH better in the winter and wind then the 501 which is almost useless since it cant gain or retain any heat. the cartridges to my pleasant suprise are actually double sealed. first there is a screw on cap that seals in the cartridge and then theres the slug thing it slides into which also seals off to prevent leakage or evaporation of your juice.
